Robin Owens joined Five Star Advisor Partners in August 2017 following a distinguished 35-year career as a band director in Texas public schools. As Office Manager, Robin helps ensure the office operates smoothly while providing friendly, attentive support to clients and team members.
Music continues to play an important role in Robin's life. She is a member of the Dallas Winds, where she performs on low clarinet, and serves as conductor of the Richardson Community Band.
Robin earned her bachelor's degree from Baylor University and her master's degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Her passion for education, leadership, and community involvement continues to shape her work and relationships today.
Robin and her husband, Mickey, are active members of the Church of the Transfiguration choir. Mickey is also a retired band director and currently teaches private clarinet lessons in Richardson.
They have two grown children, Calvin and Matty, and enjoy spending time with their family, friends, and many beloved pets, including several cats and dogs, along with a few cherished grand-pets.
