Mark Ellison, CFP®, EA is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner and an Enrolled Agent at Five Star Partners, L.L.C. He started his career in financial services with Avantax Investment ServicesSM in September of 2006. Mark holds numerous professional licenses in multiple states. Prior to joining Five Star Advisor Partners, L.L.C. in 2013 as a Financial Advisor, Mark was a Manager at Avantax Investment ServicesSM where he was responsible for a team of Business Development Consultants.
Mark’s area of focus is comprehensive financial planning utilizing the 8 Wealth Management Issues® with individuals and businesses to meet their financial goals through a variety of tools including managed accounts, mutual funds, life insurance, and tax planning.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University. He serves on the Board of Management for YMCA Camp Grady Spruce. Mark lives in Dallas with his wife Amber, their son Jack and daughter Emma.
